Astra Backflow – Shipping Policy

At Astra Backflow we aim to provide a smooth and efficient process for all customers who purchase backflow testing services, replacement parts, or equipment. This Shipping Policy outlines how and when items are shipped, delivery expectations, and your responsibilities as a customer.
1. Order Processing & Fulfillment
Service Orders:
Backflow testing and inspection services do not require physical shipping. Once your service order is placed our scheduling team will contact you within 1–2 business days to confirm your appointment date and technician.
Product Orders (Parts & Equipment):
Orders for physical products are processed within 1–3 business days. Processing time may vary during peak seasons or due to inventory availability.
Customers will be notified promptly if any item is on backorder or requires additional lead time.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
Astra Backflow ships parts and equipment using trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
Approximate delivery times after processing:
Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days
Overnight Shipping: 1 business day (availability varies)
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or supply chain conditions.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
Order weight
Package dimensions
Shipping destination
Selected shipping method
Free or reduced-rate shipping promotions may occasionally be offered and will be clearly displayed during checkout.
4. Local Pickup & Field Delivery
Local Pickup:
Certain items may be eligible for pickup at our service location. Pickup availability will be shown at checkout. An email confirmation will be sent when your order is ready.
Field Delivery (Technician Delivery):
If your order includes parts associated with a scheduled service visit, our technician may deliver the items directly during your appointment. If this option is available you will be notified during scheduling.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number via email. Tracking may take up to 24 hours to update after shipment.
If you do not receive tracking information within 3 business days please contact us.
6. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Astra Backflow is not responsible for delays or additional fees caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.
If a package is returned due to address issues, customers may be responsible for reshipping fees.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Missing Shipments
If your order arrives damaged:
1. Take clear photos of the damage and packaging.
2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
If a shipment is lost or does not arrive within 7 days of the expected date please notify us immediately so we can initiate a carrier investigation.
We will assist in resolving lost or damaged shipments but cannot guarantee replacement until the carrier process is completed.
8. Returns & Exchanges
Product returns are subject to our Return Policy (separate document).
Shipping costs for returns or exchanges may be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Service appointments are not subject to shipping refunds.
